3 Lights of Creation

www.NurMuhammad.com
Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi
Naqshbandia Vancouver BC

Rajabun Shahrullah, Shaban shahr an-Nabi and Ramadan opening shahr al-ummah.

The Secret of the three Recitations of Surah Ya-Seen [36] and Allah granting us the secret of life, wa laqad karamna bani Adam (as).

The Divine heart wants to be known. The favor of Rajab is to be free from intercession of anything in creation. That is, no creation has yet manifested in the ocean of creation. No angel and no creation will bring that reward to us. That is from the secret of the Divine heart that is moving in Rajab and from the creation of that light which is moving in Rajab. We recite the first Surah Ya-Seen for the reality of that heart and recite the first of three Surat al-Ikhlas, which is from that divine heart. This is the inclination of the Divine to create creation.
Once that will is begun the divine act of the manifestation of creation occurs.

Next Ya-Seen is for shahr Shaban.
Rajab is the light of La ilaha ila-Allah
& Muhammadan RasulAllah is for Shaban.

He is ash-Shafi.
The secret of Shaban is related to the secret of Prophet [s]. If not for Muhammadan RasulAllah that ocean would not have manifested. The second Ikhlas in our awrad is related to that Creation of The Unique Light of Existence or Ahadiyya [Uniqueness]. That light is the originating source of all light and is unique because it comes from the Divine Presence. Any other color on that spectrum of light is from it.

The Samadiyya [Self Sustaining] is the light directly from the Divine Presence. You cannot feed it nor give it sustenance and therefore it is being received directly from the Divine Presence.
The light of Shaban is manifesting from the light of the Prophet [s].
When you write the Kalima, the importance of nisf Shaban is the mid point which is called the "qaaba qawsayni aw adna". Two Bow lengths or nearer. The point where the two points intersect is the spiritual new year and that is where our light is coming into existence. Whatever is dressed upon that light is coming onto that point and is dressed at that specific point of time. Only Allah bestows or dresses that light and it is the originating source of your light. At that point He decides what sustenance your soul will receive for that year.
By the month of Ramadan that light is born. It is the ninth lunar month.

The importance of nine and the manifestation appears in that month. Ramadan is the month in which our light is born. Like the Gestation of a Child in the Womb [Rhem] That manifestation from the light of Prophet [s] is born and its sustenance is decreed and given existence.

The 3 hearts:
  • 1 - Divine Heart that no one can reach and is the originating source of fire, love and intuition. It is the originating spark and that divine heart is found only in the heat of the second heart.
  • 2 -The Heart of Sayyidina Muhammad (s). The quloob al-Muhammadiyya and the heart of creation. This is the Container of all power in this known universe
Wa laqad karamna bani Adam (as).
The reason we study the heart is not for the cosmos but is based on the heart is the presence of The Divine.
  • 3 - Adam's (as) Heart. You are the only creation given that heart as it is a reflection of the Prophetic heart and only through this heart can you reach to  Allah's gift. Open that heart, go forward into it and reflect. That is the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad (s). You do not point to any direction or focus on anything except that one heart. You point your telescope towards that direction so that your Kabah is your heart. When you are coming for this purpose and freeing Mecca by destroying the 360 idols, you are now copying the Prophet's marifah and He will take you to Divine Presence.
The Holy Prophet's example for us:
  1. Live in Mecca, i.e.. "Your Hearts Desires"
  2. Must leave Mecca, i.e.. "Your Hearts Desires"
  3. Move Towards Medina Al Munawira " City of LIGHTS"
  4. Major Battles to Save you from Hellfire and then you may return to Mecca
  5. Mecca "The Heart is now filled with Divine Love" and you destroy the idols. You make your heart and body a Masjid, or place of worship. It is completely pure and purified for your Lord and free from filth and idols.
You have 360 idols, one on each point of your body. Each point of the 360 Lataifs/ Chakras has an evilness sitting there, guarding and preventing it from submitting to the Divine Presence. Through the focus on the Shaykh and with the meditation and spiritual practices it becomes much easier to follow the Holy Prophet's example.
Then the three last big idols must be removed.  These are the Three Jammarat [Stoning of Devils on Hajj] and are the same process in your spiritual pursuit. As you try to open your heart, by Muraqabah, the Shaykh is taking away all the evilness on the Lataif / chakras and making them to submit to the Divine Presence. As we practice more and more in his way, it is his light and guidance which can remove these idols.

To achieve this we must be in Muraqabah of the Shaykh.
We must Open the lock upon the ears,
Open the lock on the heart,
and remove the veil on our eyes.

That is why the Arabic letter Sheen is for Arsh [ Divine Throne] has three dots on it; they are three locks. The purpose of the spiritual practices is to unlock the three locks on the hearts reaching towards the Divine heart through the Prophetic heart. These lights are moving from Rajab to Shaban to Ramadan.
This is the importance of the awrad that we recite. The awrad of Sayyidina Ali [as] for completion of the Quran is the Naqshbandiyya wird. That is the fulfillment of reading the Quran with all its secrets. Intention to recite the awrad on the intention of the Shaykhs.
Three Surat al-Ikhlas has to do with that reality.
The secret of number 3. We have 1 and then we have 1 1  which is reflection of 1.
2 + 1 is three.
Three - from which everything is born. Light of Allah, Light of Prophet, and Light of Creation.
One is Ahad or Unique Oneness.
One is Wahid Oneness.
One is The Essence and Wahid is the reflection of the Ahad.
One - Allah.
Creation is from the other "one" which is Wahid.
From the one and two the rest of creation is born.
Everything then is born from three. 3+1=4, ...3+6=9
Secret of The soul & light is in the understanding of  3.
3 + 1 =  4 form is given. The four elements that make up the form.
3 + 2 =  5five senses, which you use to find your lord, hearing, seeing, touching, smelling and tasting.
3 + 3 =  6you are a reflection of the divine soul so 6, al-Wadud. This creation is born from love. HabibAllah, from Allah's love (ishk), comes Muhammad (s) from his Love (ishk) comes all creation
3 + 4=  7 The guide, the calipha (al-Hadi), gives birth to the importance of seven. Seven holy openings, seven levels of the atom. 2 ears, 2 eyes, 2 nostrils a one mouth. Soul and Form are Created and a Guide is Born. The Honor of our creation and importance of the viceroy. These 3 orifices take in air and the other 4 openings are the two ears and 2 eyes, the hearing and seeing aspect of creation.
3 + 5=  8 The Soul with the secret of life is Ever Living (al-Hayat), eternal Circle of Life. When we are born we die and when we die we are born into a new reality. Each Ending is the Birth of a New Reality.  Contradictory reality. Allah is infinite and creation is an eternal cycle. Ya Da'im Ya Da'im is describing the eternal journey. We are always asking to have a good journey.
3 + 6=  93 + 6 [wadud] The Soul that opens the Secret of Divine Love and opens the power of 9 which is the highest authority. 9 is the Sultan, the king, Abdullah. Perfect submission is due to the secret of the number 9, so the Heart of the Quran, Surah 36 Ya-Seen, is seen in the mirror

Anytime we recite 11 times Surat al-Ikhlas, it relates to that secret of the mirror of Creation; Allah's Essence reflecting to Muhammad [s], the Abd.
3  for the power of Three Holy Lights.
Seven relates to Hadi or perfection of the soul and perfection of our form.
Then this perfect creation becomes a guide for all of creation.
When we recite seven times Surat al-Inshirah it is for the 7 holy openings.
That is, the opening of the 7 holy openings of the face and the 7 levels of the heart.

Miracles of Holy Quran

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani
March 24, 2013
Fenton, MI
www.sufilive.com

Everything in Holy Qur'an is in balance. There are verses of this life and akhira, there are verses of benefit and harm. This is a schedule subhanallah look how much you see the greatness in Holy Qur'an.  For example ayats of jazaa, 117 times, about Allah's punishment. ayat al-maghfira are mentioned 117 times, for Allah's forgiveness.  Ayaat al-maseer, destiny are mentioned 28 times, what is going to happen to you to believers, living forever, ayaat al-abad are mentioned 28 times.  Allah is telling you I am punishing you beware, I send verses of Holy Qur'an to make you aware and afraid and balanced on other side as verses of forgiveness. If you find way to balance the verse of jazaa and maghfira then you go to paradise.  If you make istighfar daily then you can overcome the verses of punishments. so therefore the mashaykh give a wird of istighfar 70 x daily or 300 x daily ...but ask Allah's forgiveness.

We mentioned ayaat al-maseer, of destiny, 28 times and verses of abad, living forever, is mentoined 28 timees and verses about dunya are mentioned 115 times. The verses of akhira are mentioned 115 times. subhanallah, Alhamdulillah.  It is manufactured by human beings? Written by human beings? Impossible! ayaat al-hayaat, verses of living or life, are mentioned 71 times. ayaat al-mawt, verses about death are mentioned 71 times. Balancing, I am balancing for you Allah is saying, I am not punishing. I am punishing but you have a chance for maghfira.  I mentioned dunya 115 times and I mentioned akhira 115 times, it means balance between dunya and akhira. How many times is sayf mentioned in Holy Qur'an, the summer? It is mentioned 5 times.  And when we say sayf, it means from the time of Sayyidina Adam (as) up to Judgment Day, sayf is a season that is warm, which is summer. So anything happening in that summer or summers to Sayyidina Adam (as) are mentioned in these 5 places mentioned in Holy Qur'an. All their secrets awliyaullah can dive into these 5 verses to know about summer and what is known about summer, they can dive in and get that knowledge.  shitaa, winter is similarly mentioned 5 times. Why is it always same numbers? This is eloquence of Holy Qur’an that is impossible for human to do that.

How many times the ayaat of harr, heat. It is mentioned 4 times. And ayaat al-bard, verses of cold, are mentioned 4 times.  Resurrection Day is mentioned how many times, 45 times. ayaat as-siraat al-mustaqeem mentioned 45 times. It means I am bringing you for judging you. Mentioned al-ba`th 45 times reminding us of Judgment Day. And mentioning the bridge over which we must pass 45 times.  Every time you pass by these ayaats that these attributes are mentioned, there are meanings and only the Prophet (s) was given these secrets and the Prophet (s) gave to awliyaullah and inheritors of awliyaullah.

How many times sayyiaat, ill deeds, mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 167 times. And as-salihaat,good deeds, how many times mentioned? 167 times.  How many times is jaheem, hellfire mentioned? 39 times. And sins are mentioned 39 times. Allah mentioned punishment and mentioned sins, avoid the sins avoid the punishment.  How many times is al-basar and al-baseera mentioned in Holy Qur'an? It is mentioned 148 times. How many times is al-fu'aad and al-qalb mentoined? 148 times.  How many times is the cursed one, who is Iblees, mentioned? That is why it is forbidden to curse anyone, only Allah may curse someone. How many times is Iblees mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 11 times. And how many times is it mentioned to seek refuge in Iblees through Me (Allah) in hHoly Qur'an? 11 times.  And every time a name is mentioned, if it is mentioned many times, then each time it has a different meaning. So each time mentioned to seek refuge in Allah from iblees, and each time has different meaning.

Many come and say we have sihr, black magic, on us.  How many times is sihr mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 60 times.  So that means there is sihr, black magic. And how many times is fitna mentioned? 60 times. so anytime a person makes sihr then fitna comes. So how to cancel sihr. Say a'udhu billah mina 'sh-shaytani 'r-rajeem.  How many times has Allah mentioned in Holy Qur'an to give infaaq, charity? If it was not important Allah will not mention it. It is mentioned 73 times. How many times is Allah happy with your charity, ridaa? 73 times.  How did this happen? you have to put your head on floor and make sajda to Allah all your life. and say shukran lillah, shukran ya Rabb.

How many times is `ujb, arrogance or to be proud of yourself mentioned? 27 times.  How many times is arrogance, ghuroor, mentioned? 27 times.  `ujb 27, ghuroor 27 times.  How many times is the word kaafiroon mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 154 times.  How many times is naar mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 154 times.  154 times the verses of kufr (unbelief) and in the same time, the verses of naar, hellfire are mentioned 154 times.  How many times is ad-deen, religion, mentioned? 92 times. And how many times is light mentioned 49 times. How many times war is mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 6 times and how many times is prisoner mentioned? 6 times. Because in war you take prisoners. So don’t be prisoner to shaytan, but declare war on him.

How many times is huda, guidance mentioned? 79 times. And when you are guided that is Allah's mercy on you. Mercy, rahma is metioned 79 times.  Who has love is obedient. atee'oollah wa atee'oor-rasula when you have love you obey. Love is mentioned 83 times in Holy Qur'an [Surah Yasin, the heart of Quran has 83 verses.  Sayyidina Muhammad (saws) is Yasin, Habib of Allah]. How many times is obedience at-ta`at mentioned 83 times.  How many times is al-qunoot mentioned in Holy Qur'an, it is du`a done in witr or in fajr. It is mentioned 13 times. How many times harth, to plow is mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 14 times. how many times planting fruit is mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 14 times.  Plowing 14 times, then the fruit comes and the plantation comes, that is 14 times. That means plow your body and plant dhikrullah in it. Then Allah will give to you from his heavenly plantations zira`. How many times ash-shajara mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 26 times. How many times an-nabaat, plants, are mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 26 times.  How many times from what is human beings been created mud, how many times mud is mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 12 times. how many times is sperm, nutfa, mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 12 times.  How many times is shidda, to be tough mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 102 times and how many times is as-sabr, patience mentioned, where you have to be patient on toughness? 102 times.

So equal 368.  How many times is al-imaan mentioned and al-`ilm mentioned. from `ilm (knowledge) comes imaan (faith). We ask Allah swt from here, for sake of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and awliyaullah to put in our hearts imaan that is the door for everything. In every time you mention in Holy Qur'an imaan, put an ocean in our heart.  It is mentioned 811 times.  So a lucky person has a daughter and calls her imaan, Fatima, Khadija. So when you have imaaan, you have `ilm. How many times is `ilm mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 811 times.

How many times is at-tuhr, purity, mentioned in Holy Qur'an? 31 times. Allahuma salli 'alaa Sayyidina Muhammad wa 'alaa aali Muhammad wa sallim.  So with this, we ask Allah swt to forgive us.  May Allah forgive us and bless us with His endless blessings.  That is a miracle by itself, no need to continue, but the Prophet (s) said if al-ghaalib `alaa al-`abd, if the servant of Allah is overtaken by remembering Allah swt always, I will make [Allah says] all his pleasure and joy in My remembrance."  These mentions of numbers of repetition of words in Holy Qur'an, shows how much dhikrullah will dress the abd (servent) with his pleasure. and the hadith continues. when I dress him and remove from him the veils, that person will not be heedless when people are heedles.  These kinds of people who I dress from my pleasure and are always in my pleasure their words are like my prophets' words.   That is why he said, `ulamaa ummatee ka-anbiyaa bani israaeel. The scholars, pious ones, are like the prophets of bani israeel. And he said anbiyaa bani israaeel. They are the abdaal, substitutes. oolaaika allladheena idha ... `adhaaban aw sarafta `anhum al-`adhaab. They are the ones whom if I desire punishment or... I mentioned their names. wa min Allah at-tawfeeq bi hurmati 'l-Fatiha salam 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh.

Prophet Will Perfect and Complete Your Good Manners

Prophet Will Perfect and Complete Your Good Manners
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani
9 February 2013    Rolling Meadows, Illinois
20th Annual Mawlid an-Nabi (s) at Meadows Club (2)
www.sufilive.com

As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh. Alhamdulillahi rabbi ‘l-`alameen w ’as-salaatu w ’as-salaam `alaa sayyid al-mursaleen. Alhamdulillahi ‘Lladhee ja`alnaa min ummati’n-Nabi al-Mustafaa (s)...

O brothers and sisters! It is a pleasure for me to be here tonight to celebrate Prophet’s (s) birthday. Too many speakers around the world are celebrating throughout the year the Prophet’s (s) birthday almost every day and it is not something we control, it is in the Hands of Heavens. The Prophet’s birthday is not only on Earth, it is on every planet around the world in all the Heavens from the first through to the seventh to the ninth, to infinite numbers of Heavens. And the Prophet’s (s) birthday is celebrated in the Divine Presence, as Allah (swt) said:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
Inna-Llaaha wa malaa'ikatahu yusalloona `alaa 'n-nabiyy, yaa ayyuha ’Lladheena aamanoo salloo `alayhi wa sallimoo tasleema.
Verily, Allah and His angels send praise on the Prophet. O Believers! Pray upon him and greet him him with a worthy salutation. (Surat al-Ahzaab, 33:56)

Before I continue, I don’t know how much time I have, but really no one can explain or express his feelings to the Prophet (s); it is something very difficult to speak about and express the feelings to Sayyidina Muhammad (s). But I see something not extraordinary, but something we need to improve in the community we have tonight. In England, this year we did many celebrations of Milad an-Nabi (s) and the Pakistanis there are not like here, there the community is strong, but here I am feeling no energy. [Naray takbeer! Naray risalah!] I don’t know why we are sleeping here! We have to energize ourselves. Let me hear someone here say, “Naray takbeer!” Continue, why did you stop!

Mawlana (a guest), is it not correct? They said, “You have to speak.” What do I have to speak? There are mashaa-Allah speakers here who can speak about the importance of Prophet (s) and the celebration of the Prophet (s). I was thinking what I was going to say and what Allah (swt) gave to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) that He did not give to anyone. It is very simple. What did the Prophet (s) say Allah created first? It is the Light of the Prophet (s), it is the Light of Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! And after the creation of his Light, Allah created all other Creations. We don’t want to go into that hadith, it is a long hadith, but when Allah want to create Creation He took the Light of the Prophet (s) and put it in Bahr al-Qudra, the Ocean of Energy or Ocean of Power, and it was turning and turning in that ocean.

You know in physics, when something turns like a turbine it creates energy, so when the Light of the Prophet (s) was turning and turning, Allah created from that Light all Creation, not only dunya. Dunya is finishing, it is ending, dunya is going and what is not going is important. From the Light of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), Allah created Heavens and Earth, He created this universe from the Light of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), from that Light in which Prophet (s) is dressed. If you carry a book don’t you know what is in the book? If you wrote a book don’t you know what is in it? This Creation is being created from the Light of Prophet (s), so does he not know what is in his Light? That is why he said, “I have been informed, `Uloom al-Awwaleen wa ‘l-Akhireen, I know the Knowledge of Before and the Knowledge of After.” Say, “Naray takbeer!” [Naray takbeer! Naray risalah!]

So by this light, this spotlight that we can see here, if there is no light you cannot see us. This light is producing power and energy and that energy that Allah (swt) made from the Bahr al-Qudrah is turning and still turning there, and still Creation is coming from it as Allah is al-Khaaliq and Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is the Messenger to all Creations from beginning to no end!

So who can speak of the Prophet (s)? Look at his miracles. In the early morning he would eat seven dates and one cup of milk every day. He never stopped that and the Sahaabah asked about this, and he said, “This mixture of dates and milk produces power to the brain to think well and it takes the poison from the body.” So the Sahaabah used to eat seven dates and milk. Recently, about six or seven years ago, scientists tried to see why the Prophet (s) said that, so they took the seven dates and one cup of milk and put it in an artificial stomach with all the enzymes and acid that is in the stomach and it began to work. Suddenly a blue light was coming from the center of the stomach to the brain that they were able to see. [Subhaan-Allah! Naray takbeer...] Say more, more! Allahu Akbar! Yaa `Ali Haydari! Jeevay jeevay! Murshid jeevay! So they saw the mixture bringing a blue light to the brain and found that light is increasing intelligence in the brain and found that the rest of mixture was going between the skin and muscles, where the poison usually goes from the liver and lives in between the skin and muscles, and that it was killing the poison!

That is 1400 years ago; the Prophet (s) knew what scientists did not know until 1400 years later. This is one of the Prophet’s (s) scientific miracles. What can we say about this? Who was able to do that? No one. And he said in his hadith:

حياتي خير لكم تحدثون ويحدث لكم ، فإذا أنا مت كانت وفاتي خيرا لكم ، تعرض علي أعمالكم فان رأيت خيرا حمدت الله تعالى وإن رأيت شرا استغفرت لكم
Hayaatee khayrun lakum tuhadithoona wa yuhdatha lakum fa idhaa anaa mitt kaana wafaatee khayran lakum. Tu`radu `alayya `amalakum fa in ra’aitu khayran hamadt 'allah ta`ala wa in ra’itu sharran astaghfarta lakum.
My life is good for you as you will relate from me and it will be related to you, and when I die my passing will be better for you. (Meaning, “My death is better for you than my life, because then I can pray for you.”) I observe your deeds. If I find good I thank Allah, and if I see bad, I ask forgiveness for you.  (al-Bazzaar in his Musnad)

The Prophet (s) sees the action of his ummah and if he sees good he thanks Allah, and if not he asks forgiveness for them. Okay, did we think a little bit about the meaning of that hadith? And we are all clever to say, “He is haazir, naazhir, hearing and seeing,” he is present and he is hearing and he is seeing! For a normal person, if he can see what other people cannot see, what of Prophet (s)? Prophet (s) said:

Man `ada lee waliyan aadhantahu bi ’l-harb wa maa taqarraba ilayya `abdee bi-shayyin ahabba ilayya mimmaa aftaradtu `alayhi wa maa yazaalu `abdee yataqarabu ilayya bi’ n-nawaafil hatta uhibbah. Fa idhaa ahbaabtahu kuntu sama`uhulladhee yasma`u bihi wa basarahulladhee yubsiru bihi, wa yadahulladhee yabtishu bihaa wa rijlahullatee yamshee bihaa.
My servant does not cease to approach Me through voluntary worship until I will love him. When I love him, I will become the ears with which he hears, the eyes with which he sees, the hand with which he acts, and the legs with which he walks (and other versions include, “and the tongue with which he speaks.”). (Hadith Qudsi, Bukhari)

If that is for a normal person, then what about Prophet (s)? Look at the difference, “I observe the `amal of my ummah.” How can he observe the `amal of his ummah? How many are in his ummah? In a moment, the Prophet (s) can see everyone of the ummah and what they are doing, and that is the meaning of “haazhir and naazhir,” and not one overlaps the other with their names and what they are doing! He can see everyone separately with their names and what they are doing, and he asks Allah for forgiveness on each one’s behalf! (Naray takbeer...) Yaa Rasoolullah! Yaa `Ali! Yaa Ghawthiya! Zindabad! Allahu Akbar, that is good! I am preparing them for you (speakers to follow)!

Where did we arrive? So he (s) can see the whole ummah in the same moment. Can we see in one moment more than one person? Sayyidina Muhammad (s) can see us, he knows everything about us. O Muslims! Don’t underestimate his powers, as Allah (swt) said:
مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ
Maraj al-bahrayni yaltaqiyaani baynahumaa barzakhun laa yabghiyaan.
He let forth the two seas so that they meet together. Between them is a barrier that they do not transgress. (Surat al-Rahman, 55:19)

When did He say that? Min al-Azal, it is from Pre-Eternity, but when was Holy Qur'an revealed? Fourteen-hundred years ago. And Allah (swt) said, Maraj al-bahrayni yaltaqiyaan, “He made the two oceans meet together and between them baynahumaa, is a quarantine,” that one ocean cannot come into another ocean; they cannot be assimilated to each other, one is separated from the other. Now the scientists found that the two oceans, the Mediterranean and Atlantic, or any two oceans, when they meet there is a quarantine between them that fish go into for forty days to adapt themselves to the other ocean, then they can move to the Atlantic or to the Mediterranean. [Naray takbeer!...] Allahu Akbar! Yaa Rasoolullah! Yaa `Ali!

How did the Prophet (s) know that and observe that? `Allama al-qur’an. Jibreel (a) was coming to the Prophet (s) with revelation of Surah Maryam and he said, “Kaaf,” the Prophet (s) said, “`Alimtu,” and he said, “Haa,” “`Alimtu,” “`Ayn,” “`Alimtu,” “Saad,” “`Alimtu,” and the Prophet (s) said “`Alimtu,” and he said, “I say to you, and you say, ‘`Alimtu,’, you know!” So he knew all the knowledge of the Holy Qur`an, he knew every letter of Holy Qur'an! Kaaf is a letter, Haa is a letter, `Ayn is a letter, Saad is a letter, but it is not a letter that we can understand, but the Prophet (s) can understand the oceans of meanings on every letter of Holy Qur'an. There is no restriction and limitation on the meanings of every letter of Holy Qur’an.

Alif is a letter and at the same time is a word! If it was only a letter, would it have a meaning? It cannot carry a meaning if it is a letter, but if it is a word it can carry a meaning. So `ulama al-Ummah put many meanings for al-huroof al-muqata`at, the (mystical) letters (that precede some surahs of Holy Qur’an, such as) Alif. Laam. Meem and Haa. Meem. `Ayn. Seen. Saad and Qaaf. Haa. Yaa. `Ayn. Saad. Every letter has meaning that no one knows except the Prophet (s), but he gave everything to the ummah, he didn’t keep it for himself, so it means the ummah can understand these hidden knowledges!

In the Hadith Qudsi I just mentioned, “My servant does not cease to approach Me through voluntary worship until I will love him. When I love him, I will become the ears with which he hears, his tongue that he can speak with,” it means these meanings will be poured in your heart, but you have to be a good person, and what is a good person? That is a person who does salawaat without stopping, as he is imitating angels. Allah (s) said to all angels:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
Inna-Llaaha wa malaa'ikatahu yusalloona `ala 'n-nabiyy, yaa ayyuha ’Lladheena aamanoo salloo `alayhi wa sallimoo tasleema.
Verily, Allah and His angels send praise on the Prophet. O Believers! Pray upon him and greet him him with a worthy salutation. (Surat al-'Ahzaab, 33:56)

What are these angels? How many are they? There is no limitation, as He said “all of them.” All of the angels are making salawaat: those He created and those He is creating now and those He will create in the future are all making salawaat on the Prophet (s)! Let us think a little bit. These angels, are they millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions, a billion or trillion, a quadrillion? No, there are more, and all of them are doing salawaat on the Prophet (s) non-stop! What kind of darood do you think they are making on the Prophet (s)? Just now (a mureed) asked me which darood we have to read and I asked, which darood are the angels reciting? Do you think all these billions and trillions of angels are making the same darood? No way, or then (to think so) you would be limiting Allah’s Greatness. No, each angel is making a special darood for himself alone, different than all others, and if we say they are repeating then we are limiting Allah’s Power, and each salawaat they make must be different than the previous salawaat as it is not a copy machine, each is unique. So in every moment, every angel is doing salawaat on Prophet (s) and in the next moment it is a different salawaat and in next moment is a different salawaat. Billions and billions and billions of angels... think, what kind of power from these endless salawaat are dressing Sayyidina Muhammad (s)?

O People! Say, “SubhaanAllah, alhamdulillah wa laa ilaaha illa-Llah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa ‘l-azaamatu lillah wa ‘l-`izzatu lillahi wa li rasoolihi wa li ‘l-mu’mineen!

O Believers! The celebration we are doing for the Prophet (s) is an imitation of the celebration of the Prophet (s) that is being made every day in every moment in Paradise! What do you think of the angels’ darood, is it not a celebration? To make a darood is a celebration of Prophet’s birthday! If we are making darood, we are imitating Whom? [The angels.] Angels and Whom? Allah (swt), as He says:

قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Qul in kuntum tuhibboona 'Llaaha fattabi`oonee yuhbibkumullaahu wa yaghfir lakum dhunoobakum w 'Allaahu Ghafooru 'r-Raheem.
Say (O Muhammad), "If you (really) love Allah, then follow me! Allah will love you and forgive your sins, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surat Aali-'Imraan, 3:31)

“If you really love Allah, follow Muhammad (s)!” We are following by doing darood on him, imitational darood of the original darood up in Heavens. We are imitating. We will get the same blessings of that which the angels are praying on the Prophet (s) and Allah is dressing him, with which in turn he is dressing his ummah!

O Mu’mins! It is not easy to speak of the Prophet (s). Look at the Moon, can we all see the Moon at the same time, all the people in a country? There is a 24 hour difference in time between here and far countries, but everyone sees the Moon. You see the Moon and the Moon sees you! Who is the Moon? It is Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! The Moon is Muhammad (s), siraajan muneera, he is the Light that reflects on everyone, and he can see everyone. That Light can reach you in the same moment everywhere. Don’t think that it is too much for Prophet (s) to see everyone in the same moment, all of you together at the same time! Look at the power of the Prophet (s). We can see that spotlight (above the stage) all at the same time, so if we are able to reach the level where he spoke of in the Hadith Qudsi, “As long as My Servant approaches Me, I will be the ears with which he hears, and eyes with which he sees,” then we will see the Light of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) shining on this room! Don’t think he is away, he is present! Yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah, yaa Shafi`i al-Mudhnibeen!

I am giving scientific examples as many of the youth here are studying physics, engineering, chemistry or whatever they are studying. Let us take the second (unit of a minute). Scientists said, “Let us see how many fractions of a second we can find in time. (Time consists of hours, minutes and seconds, and we know that an hour has 60 minutes and one minute is 60 seconds.) Can we go down more from the second and if we do, what will happen?” So they began to break the second down, less and less, until it reached 10-22 (10-minus-22), which is 22 zeros after the decimal point and then a one. That is the smallest fraction of a second, 22 zeros and then one; it cannot even be seen as it is smaller than an atom, smaller than the micron, smaller than anything! Time collapsed, there was no more time because from the beginning time is imaginary, the Fourth Dimension is imaginary. The three dimensions you can see, but you cannot see the Fourth Dimension because Allah did not give you the eyes to see it, but if Allah gives you the eyes to see, then you can see the Fourth Dimension. So time collapsed, no more time. What happened? Everything turned into energy, taaqaah. And we know taaqaah, an-noor is taaqaah, the light is the energy. So with that source of energy, the light, we can do everything. With light, energy, you can move a one ton bar of iron using a crane or an engine with electricity running it, with taaqaah in it. So Allah dressed the Prophet (s) with Bahr al-Qudra, the Ocean of Taaqaah, the Ocean of Power, that through him (s) everything is shining and through him everything appeared and we can see everything.

O Muslims! I will not take too much time. We are happy to say that three years in a row in England, with the help of our friends in the Pakistani community, we were able to celebrate the Prophet’s birthday on the exact day of 12th of Rabi` al-Awwal in the Houses of Parliament, in the House of Commons, with many different ministers and MPs. For the third time! That is not simple, to be able to go inside and do the Mawlid of the Prophet (s). That is something that, inshaa-Allah, is going to go everywhere around the world. When I first came here in 1991, there were very few people doing celebrations of the Prophet (s). Now every mosque is running to do that, for whatever reason they are doing it. Some began to turn from Salafi to Sufi and for some it is the money they are getting. Okay, take money, but do it and don’t keep quiet!

May Allah forgive us and bless us and keep us and bless this ummah! There are heavy days coming, difficult days and we are not in an easy time, we are in difficult times. Keep to yourself. And the Prophet (s) said one thing that we must keep:

انما بعثت لاتمم مكارم الاخلاق
Innamaa bu`ithtu li utammimu makaarim al-akhlaaq.
I have been sent to perfect the best of conduct (your behavior and character). (Bazzaar)

“All your worship is for you, but I was sent to complete and perfect your manners and behavior.” There are mawlanas here. The Prophet (s) said, innama bu`ithtu li utammima makaarim al-akhlaaq, he gave a decision that he is going to complete the manners of his ummah and their good behavior, the moral excellence and the Station of Ihsaan, and to complete it. He didn’t complete us, still we have bad manners: we fight with each other, we are angry with each other and we are jealous of each other, so what does that hadith mean? It means that Muhammad (s) Sayyid ar-Rasool, took a decision on himself that, “You will not die without being perfected in good manners!” Prophet (s) is taking responsibility for that! [Naray takbeer!...] Allahu Akbar! That means that no Muslim, no mu’min will leave dunya without seeing the Prophet (s) completing his good manners and behavior for him. He took on this responsibility in front of Allah (swt), as he says, innamaa bu`ithtu, “I have been sent,” which means, “Allah has sent me to complete your manners!” No one will leave this dunya without good manners on the day of his soul going out of his body except that he will meet the Prophet (s) and will be perfected. If you don’t reach in dunya, you will reach it when you die. That is what Prophet (s) has mentioned in that hadith, and there are many about his rahmah. There is no time (to mention more), I have to stop now. May Allah forgive us, may Allah bless us.

Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
